Support Kindergarten to Grade 7 students as a Casual Education Assistant at UNISUS School in Summerland, BC. This role provides flexible, on-call work in a nurturing educational atmosphere.

As a Casual Education Assistant, you will play an essential role in fostering curiosity and independence in children during the 2026-27 school year. The position involves assisting teachers and collaborating with specialists to implement effective educational strategies for students with diverse needs. This casual role may lead to ongoing opportunities as student requirements change and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with diverse learning needs in the classroom

• Collaborate with teachers and staff effectively

• Provide support in small group settings

• Promote self-regulation and independence in students

• Supervise students during various activities

Requirements:

• Preferred Education Assistant certification

• Experience with K-7 children

• Proficiency in addressing learning differences

• Compassionate and collaborative approach

• Must pass a Criminal Record Check
