Osoyoos Indian Band is looking for a certified Educational Assistant to support teachers and students at Senpaq'cin Elementary. This role focuses on working with children facing various learning challenges and fostering a supportive and culturally sensitive learning environment. Candidates must exhibit a strong commitment to children's well-being and academic success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with classroom staff on individualized plans

• Supervise students during unstructured times

• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learners

• Record observations and progress notes

• Provide support to learning strategies and activities

Requirements:

• Valid BC Driver License (Class
5) or N

• Teaching Assistant Certificate essential

• Experience in First Nations communities preferred

• Required Criminal Record Check for vulnerable children

• Patience in handling diverse learning approaches
