Infant & Toddler Educator

We are seeking passionate and dedicated Infant & Toddler Educators to join our team. As an Infant & Toddler Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and providing them with a strong foundation for their future education. Duties:
Create and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities
Foster a positive and nurturing learning environment
Document observations and complete pedagogical narrations
Provide individualized guidance to support each child's needs
Monitor and assess each child's development and progress
Collaborate with families, colleagues and communicate regularly about children's progress.
Excellent spoken and written English language a must
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment

Requirements:
License to practice as an Infant and Toddler Educator (ITE)
Valid First Aid/CPR
Food Safe (Basic - Level
1)
Clear Criminal Record Check from the Ministry of Justice
2-3 positive professional references
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia Approach and open-ended play based learning
Familiar with BC's Early Learning Framework, ECEBC's Code of Ethics, and ECPN
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to effectively manage a classroom of young children
Knowledgeable about children's nutritional needs to educate about our Nutrition Program

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $25.00-$26.00 per hours plus a $6 Government Wage Enhancement ($31.00-$32.00)

Expected hours: 40 hours per week
