Position: Counsellor for Middle and Secondary Schools
Central Okanagan Public Schools in Kelowna, BC, is looking for School Counsellors dedicated to supporting middle and secondary students. Help create an equitable and empowering educational atmosphere for all.
Ideal candidates will contribute full-time or part-time to a dynamic team focused on mental health and academic success. Schools prioritize fostering student relationships while addressing individual development needs. Successful applicants will have an understanding of diverse learning environments and experience in counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students’ mental health and personal growth

• Guide academic and career transition planning

• Work collaboratively with families and educational staff

• Implement strategic district educational goals

• Use technology for effective communication and reporting
Requirements:

• Must possess a professional teaching certificate

• Minimum two years of classroom teaching experience needed

• Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or similar

• Experience in Middle and Secondary school counselling

• Committed to teamwork and inclusive practices
