Elevate student experiences as the Indigenous Program Administrator s role focuses on recruitment, advising, and comprehensive program support for Indigenous students.
In this term position at 0.5 FTE, you'll assist with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that cater specifically to Indigenous students. Your responsibilities will include outreach initiatives, individualized advising, and managing communications within Indigenous Programs and Services. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to enhance the academic journey for Indigenous learners.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate outreach and recruitment for Indigenous student initiatives
• Advise on academic, financial, and personal matters for students
• Plan and evaluate cultural programs to support student development
• Manage resources and administrative functions for IPS
• Lead special projects to drive community engagement
Requirements:
• Strong background in Indigenous student programs
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Experience in academic advising and program coordination
• Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Proven capability to manage multiple projects
