CANSI Certified Nordic Ski Instructor

Join the adventure at Big White Ski Resort as a CANSI certified Nordic Ski Instructor! We’re on the lookout for passionate instructors available for the full winter season.

Become a part of our celebrated Ski & Board School in Western Canada, offering unmatched staff incentives and training. This role is perfect for those with CANSI Level 1-3 certifications, with openings for part-time and limited full-time instructors who can also teach skiing and snowboarding. Previous instructing experience is a plus, and a criminal record check is required prior to employment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct Nordic skiing lessons for all skill levels

• Create a safe and engaging environment for learners

• Assist students in refining their skiing techniques

• Carry and manage equipment weighing up to 40lbs

• Help fallen skiers regain their feet swiftly

Requirements:

• CANSI Level 1, 2, or 3 certification requisite

• Previous cross country instruction experience beneficial

• Ability to ski for 4-5 hours daily

• Criminal record check required before starting

• Provide at least two references from past roles
