The Senior Manager for Academic Programs is an essential leadership position s role guides the development and implementation of strategic educational initiatives, collaborating with faculty across the Okanagan community. Key areas include program development, governance approvals, and reviews aimed at enhancing teaching quality and student success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive development of strategic teaching and learning priorities
• Coordinate academic unit reviews and curriculum renewal projects
• Foster relationships with faculty, staff, and external stakeholders
• Lead project planning and implementation initiatives
• Provide mentorship and coaching to faculty and staff
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum seven years of related experience
• Strong skills in policy development and project management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
