Develop, plan, and facilitate the Flex Academy “Sparks” After School Care Program in a creative, engaging, and supportive manner.

Develop, plan, and facilitate the Flex Academy “Sparks” Kids Camps during Professional Development Days and School Breaks.

Develop engaging learning and play opportunities for students.

Develop and maintain a relational atmosphere where students experience connection with one another and with staff in a safe and creative learning space.

Listen and respond to families, staff, and stakeholders using professional etiquette to maintain timely and supportive communication with families.

Ensure activities, spaces, and procedures are in line with Interior Health licensing requirements for after school care.

Adhere to HCOS processes and policies, developing and implementing all programs in alignment with the values and ethos of HCOS:
Flex Academy.

Experience planning activities for children.

Must have a valid First Aid certificate (e.g., Emergency Child Care First Aid & CPR)
Food Safe Certification.

Responsible Adult Certification or willingness to obtain employer funded certificate.
