Innovate and lead a mechanical engineering team with WSP in Kelowna or Kamloops, BC. This role emphasizes fostering a high-performance culture and expanding regional operations.
You will play a strategic role in guiding a team of mechanical engineers, ensuring project quality and compliance in various sectors including healthcare and education. Your responsibilities will also include business development and acting as a primary client liaison to foster strong relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Recruit and guide mechanical engineers and designers
• Ensure project quality and compliance with codes
• Lead business development efforts and proposals
• Maintain relationships with clients for satisfaction
• Oversee and innovate mechanical system designs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer in BC
• At least 8 years in mechanical engineering
• Proven experience in leading high-performing teams
• Proficient in AutoCAD, familiarity with Revit MEP preferred
