Aircraft Structure Technician at IMP

Location: Greenwood

Support vital military operations as an Aircraft Structure Technician at IMP's Main Operating Base in Greenwood, NS. This position is key to aircraft maintenance and structural integrity across various missions.

In this role, you will handle essential repairs and maintenance for aircraft structures and support equipment. Your responsibilities will include performing structural repairs, conducting inspections, and managing ramp duties such as fueling and towing. Training junior employees and ensuring a safe, organized work environment will also be part of your daily tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and repair aircraft structural components

• Manage pre/post-flight support tasks

• Participate in travel for maintenance at remote sites

• Provide training and supervision for new employees

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workplace

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in aviation maintenance

• Graduated from an approved aircraft repair program

• Capable of obtaining Secret Level II Security Clearance

• Strong knowledge of structural inspection techniques

• Competence with technical documents and manuals
