Elevate your engineering career as a full-time Project Engineer with the City of Penticton, in beautiful British Columbia. Engage in diverse municipal projects and make impactful engineering decisions every day.
This permanent role reports to the Infrastructure Services Manager and requires a Civil Engineering degree along with 3-5 years of relevant work experience. As a Project Engineer, you will lead planning activities, execute independent designs, and guide junior staff while ensuring project success through effective public consultations and stakeholder meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out varied municipal engineering assignments
• Solve problems using standard procedures and past experiences
• Conduct independent design and analysis for projects
• Provide authoritative recommendations for engineering decisions
• Facilitate public consultations and respond to inquiries
Requirements:
• Civil Engineering degree with 3-5 years experience
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and GIS
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
