Position: Senior Engineer for Power Delivery Design
Shape resilient power systems with WSP as a Senior Distribution Line Engineer. Focus on designing safe, reliable overhead and underground distribution lines to keep communities energized.

In this senior role, you will collaborate with the Distribution team across various offices in British Columbia. You'll lead design efforts for utility projects, ensuring compliance and quality. The role involves applying engineering calculations, performing quality checks, and managing project deliverables while enhancing efficiency through innovative design practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design teams for utility projects of various scales

• Coordinate with clients and project managers for smooth delivery

• Prepare design packages for distribution systems

• Perform quality checks on deliverables from junior staff

• Manage project estimates, schedules, and engineering support

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering with P.Eng license in BC

• 10-15 years of distribution line design experience

• Proficient in design software such as PLS-CADD

• Knowledge of utility standards and construction techniques

• Ability to lead and develop engineering teams
