Join IMP Aerospace & Defence as an Avionics Technician (AME
- E) for the Canadian Search and Rescue Helicopter program. Engage in crucial aviation maintenance while supporting Canada's fleet of CH-149 helicopters.
This role involves first and second line maintenance on aircraft systems for the Cormorant Helicopter. As an Avionics Technician, you'll conduct inspections, servicing, and repairs on electricity and mechanical systems. With a commitment to safety, this position ensures mission readiness every day of the year.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform first and second level maintenance on avionics systems
• Conduct pre/post flight inspections and support
• Resolve avionics deficiencies from built-in tests
• Participate in mobile repair parties and training programs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Requirements:
• 3 years of aviation maintenance experience
• Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or military equivalent
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and corrosion control
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License required
• Ability to obtain Secret Level II Security Clearance
