Civil Designer
Kelowna, BC
A Day in the Life- Produce detailed civil earthworks and infrastructure layout drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Guide design standards, quality checks, and ensure adherence to project specifications and applicable codes
- Interface with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors to provide design input and technical support
- Conduct occasional site visits and field reviews to validate design work and collect as‑built data
- Contribute to project planning and coordination with Project Managers and Engineers
- Support quantity take‑offs, grading plans, site servicing layouts, and erosion control designs
- Diploma of Technology in a Civil program (EDDT preferred)
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in civil design, including complex civil/earthworks projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Experience with Autodesk Recap, Bluebeam Revu, Global Mapper, and Microsoft Office products
- Understanding of coordinate systems, survey data processing, and material take‑offs
- Experience in the design of roads, ponds, ditches, site grading, and municipal infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience in municipal or subdivision development is an asset
- Technical competence, attention to detail, and project accountability
