This full-time permanent role focuses on enhancing energy efficiency in existing buildings across the Interior Health region. Collaborate closely with facility operators and DDC technicians to identify improvements in building automation systems. You will leverage your expertise in HVAC, control systems, and energy optimization practices to create impactful changes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct on-site investigations of building operations
• Implement low cost/no cost energy conservation measures
• Program and commission software for operational efficiency
• Record and track findings to ensure energy savings
• Provide technical support for facilities capital projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering field
• Minimum five years of experience with BAS systems
• Proven results in previous recommissioning projects
• Registered PEng, AScT, or equivalent certification
• Class 5 BC Driver's license for site travel
