Intermediate Water Resources Engineer

In this pivotal role, you will join the Municipal Engineering team, engaging in the design and execution of innovative water management solutions. Your responsibilities will include leading engineering designs and preparing technical documents that influence project success. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, you will ensure that water resource considerations are integrated into municipal and land development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design stormwater management and drainage systems
• Lead engineering designs from concept to construction
• Validate engineering calculations and technical assessments
• Create hydrologic and hydraulic models for system performance
• Conduct field reviews and site visits for project insights
Requirements:
• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• P. Eng. registration in British Columbia or eligibility
• Several years in municipal water resources engineering
• Proficiency in modeling software like MIKE+ and PCSWMM
• Knowledge of BC municipal design standards
