With over 55 years of experience, Maple Reinders is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join the Civil Estimating team. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years experience estimating Water/Wastewater projects or have a background as a Project Manager. Responsibilities include detailed cost estimation, collaborating with subcontractors, and mentoring junior staff, directly contributing to project success.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare detailed cost estimates and tenders
- Review specifications and analyze project requirements
- Select subcontractors and obtain quotations
- Close tenders in coordination with senior managers
- Develop and assess project risk and opportunities
- 7+ years in Water/Wastewater construction estimation
- University Degree or Technology Diploma in Engineering
- Mechanical or Civil experience is a plus
- Knowledge of MS Project for scheduling
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills
