Seize the opportunity to become the Chief Wastewater Operator for the Town of Osoyoos, BC. This full-time position emphasizes leadership and expertise in managing vital wastewater systems.
As Chief Wastewater Operator, you will oversee the operation and repair of the Town's wastewater treatment facilities. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with safety regulations, monitoring system performance, and coordinating maintenance programs. This role also requires after-hours availability and participation in emergency response, ensuring that community standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage wastewater treatment plant operations and maintenance

• Conduct system performance monitoring and inspections

• Mentor team members in operational protocols

• Assist with capital projects and maintain operational records

• Respond promptly to emergency situations and callouts
Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• EOCP Wastewater Treatment Level II and Collection Level II

• Minimum seven years of operational experience

• Valid BC Class 3 Driver's Licence with Air Brake Endorsement

• Certifications in water treatment preferred
