Senior Structural Engineer

SKYTRAC seeks a Senior Structural Design and Airworthiness Engineer in Kelowna, British Columbia, to spearhead structural analysis and support STC certification efforts. Your expertise will be instrumental in advancing aviation's future.

In this full-time office role, you will play a pivotal part in enhancing structural substantiation capabilities within SKYTRAC’s Design Approval Organization. Lead critical structural analyses while collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold airworthiness standards. Ensure that all designs meet certification requirements from regulatory authorities, reinforcing SKYTRAC's reputation in the aerospace sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis and substantiation for structural modifications

• Develop and review engineering reports for certification

• Interface with regulatory bodies for compliance matters

• Mentor junior staff in structural engineering practices

• Ensure integrity of aircraft installations through thorough reviews

Requirements:

• Engineering degree in relevant field

• 3+ years of experience in aircraft structural certification

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is an asset

• In-depth knowledge of airworthiness regulations

• Proficient in structural analysis tools and methods
