The Resort Municipality of Osoyoos is seeking a qualified Water/Wastewater Operator II under the Utilities Supervisor. This role primarily emphasizes wastewater management while requiring participation in various operational aspects. Candidates will also oversee the work of fellow operators to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain water and wastewater systems

• Supervise other water/wastewater operators

• Respond to emergency situations during on-call rotation

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and certifications

• Perform inspections and maintain accurate records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• EOCP Level 2 Water Distribution certification

• Valid Class 5 B.C. Driver's License, air brakes endorsed

• BCWWA Chlorine Handler Certificate

• Training in confined space entry and excavations preferred
