Job Description
We are expanding our RPM team and are seeking an Environmental Remediation Project Manager. This role involves working with a dedicated team to manage contaminated downstream sites and achieve closure.

In this position, you will collaborate with Project Coordinators, Project Managers, Senior Project Directors, Technical Leads, Field Technicians, Scientists, and Engineers to deliver high‑quality consulting services to clients.

Responsibilities

Collaborate within a team and with senior leadership.

Commit to health and safety, steward best health and safety practices throughout your projects.

Client‑centric mindset, provide excellent consulting services.

Create proposals and cost estimates, organize field schedules, gather data and write reports with conclusions and recommendations.

Manage project accounting, ensure tracking and reporting follow the terms outlined in WSP’s Master Services Agreements.

Mentor junior staff on environmental protocols and conduct site inspections to uphold safety and technical standards.

Communicate with clients to confirm their needs and keep projects and proposals on high quality.

Support fellow members of the Remediation Program Management Group with responsibilities related to health and safety, project management, completion, and client service.

Qualifications

University degree or college diploma in engineering or environmental sciences.

Minimum 5 years of experience in contaminated site assessments; downstream experience considered an asset, plus at least 3 years of project management experience.

Sound understanding of health and safety procedures in the workplace and a safety‑conscious attitude.

Strong field experience considered an asset.

Understanding of the BC Environmental Management Act/Contaminated Sites Regulation.

Professional designation preferred.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK : $80,800 – $107,000

MB & ON : $73,700 – $101,500

NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC : $73,000 – $96,900

Final salary may vary based on education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business needs.
