As a key member of the building science team, leverage your structural engineering expertise to enhance and evaluate existing buildings. This role provides the chance for hands-on engagement with projects while fostering professional relationships and creative problem-solving. You’ll gain valuable experience working collaboratively within a respected firm.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with engineers on project design and execution
• Evaluate existing buildings and prepare comprehensive reports
• Conduct structural analysis under new loading conditions
• Facilitate multidisciplinary coordination for project success
• Perform construction oversight and quality assurance tasks
Requirements:
• Degree in civil engineering with structural focus
• 5+ years in structural engineering or consulting context
• Eligible for P.Eng registration with EGBC
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Valid Canadian Driver’s License
