Kelowna Structural Engineer - Project Leader

McElhanney is seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer in Kelowna, BC, to spearhead impactful engineering projects for local governments and agencies. Bring your 10+ years of expertise in structural design to a dynamic and inclusive workplace.

This role requires strong leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior staff. You'll perform design and site inspections while actively contributing to proposal preparations and business development efforts. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams will be key in enhancing project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee design, engineering, and site inspections

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects

• Mentor and guide junior engineering professionals

• Participate in business development and proposal writing

Requirements:

• Accredited Civil/Structural Engineering degree with 10+ years of experience

• Valid P.Eng. registration in Canada

• Experience in various structural projects for public/private clients

• Understanding of relevant building codes and regulations

• Familiarity with RISA or SAP
2000 software
