Lead municipal engineering initiatives in Osoyoos, British Columbia, as an Engineering Manager. Oversee infrastructure projects while providing technical guidance and fostering community engagement.

The Town of Osoyoos seeks a Manager of Engineering to report to the Director of Operational Services. This leadership role involves planning and executing municipal infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, and roads. You will manage budgets, contracts, and ensure adherence to municipal standards while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning and delivery of municipal infrastructure projects

• Provide technical guidance to support engineering and development

• Manage contracts, budgets, and project schedules

• Supervise technical staff and consultants in a unionized environment

• Act as a liaison with Council and community stakeholders

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field

• Registered Professional Engineer or eligibility for registration

• 5-7 years’ experience in municipal infrastructure projects

• 2 years’ experience managing technical staff

• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
