In this role, you will serve as the Engineer of Record, tackling challenges related to building performance and energy efficiency. With a strong emphasis on mentoring junior staff, your technical leadership will help drive innovative results within the firm. This position requires a combination of engineering expertise and effective project management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act as the Engineer of Record for project delivery
• Conduct building envelope investigations and assessments
• Oversee forensic investigations of failures and compliance issues
• Review and prepare comprehensive technical documentation
• Mentor junior staff and promote continuous learning
Requirements:
• P.Eng. in British Columbia is mandatory
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Building Science required
• 5-10 years of building science consulting experience
• 2 years in an Engineer of Record capacity
• Strong communication and client management abilities
