Geotechnical Technologist at PRI

PRI is seeking a detail-oriented individual for a permanent position within our Kelowna office. Ideal for early or intermediate professionals, this role provides practical exposure to field assessments and laboratory operations under experienced technologists and engineers. You'll participate actively in geotechnical site investigations and quality control practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in geotechnical site investigations including drilling and sampling

• Conduct materials testing per industry standards in the lab

• Execute compaction testing and subgrade inspections

• Complete accurate field and lab reports along with data entry

• Operate field and laboratory equipment safely and correctly

Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field

• Interest in geotechnical engineering and materials testing

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Valid driver's license and travel willingness

• Commitment to quality and workplace safety
