Senior Mid Market Account Manager

Use financial expertise and business development skills as BDC’s Senior Commercial Account Manager serving mid-market entrepreneurs in Kelowna. A hybrid work model supports this client-facing mandate.

This experienced position supports entrepreneurs with revenues up to $50M through customized Financing and Advisory solutions. You will manage commercial banking relationships, develop new business, and apply analytical, credit judgment, and negotiation skills. The work contributes to Canadian business growth through BDC, the bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs.

• Develop action plans supporting portfolio growth, retention, and new business acquisition
• Manage mid-market portfolios and build long-term owner relationships
• Network with Kelowna associations, chambers, and professional partners
• Structure, present, and recommend financing solutions meeting risk requirements
• Collaborate internally on integrated financing and advisory solutions

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, or related field
• Three to five years’ relevant commercial banking experience
• Business development experience, including prospecting and pipeline development
• Strong analysis, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
