Healthcare facilities across British Columbia are actively hiring Travel Physiotherapists to support acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient, and long‑term care programs in multiple regions.
Responsibilities- Assess patients’ physical abilities using standardized assessment tools and formulate physiotherapy diagnoses
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, education, and rehabilitation modalities
- Monitor progress, evaluate treatment effectiveness, and adjust plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on home programs, mobility, and prevention strategies
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, coordinated care outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow regulatory practice standards
- Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (required across BC)
- Completion of supervised practical training
- Successful completion of the Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) or equivalent provincial requirements
- Active registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia (CHCPBC)
- Strong assessment, manual therapy, and rehabilitation planning skills
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient‑education abilities
- 4–13 week travel contract (possible extension)
