Make a difference in children's lives as a CYMH Clinician in Grand Forks, BC. Provide comprehensive mental health services for youth aged 0-18 while collaborating with community partners.
This full-time position with BC Public Service offers a chance to work within a dedicated team focused on the well-being of children and families. As a clinician, you’ll deliver assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and therapy services for various emotional challenges. Your expertise will contribute to culturally informed, client-centered care within the Okanagan and West Kootenay regions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct intake services and assessments for youth
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy
• Collaborate with schools and community agencies
• Perform crisis intervention and safety planning
• Support culturally informed care practices
Requirements:
• Master’s in Counselling or related field
• Minimum one year of relevant experience
• Valid B.C. Class 5 driver’s license
• Experience with diverse communities preferred
• Indigenous applicants encouraged to apply
