Resident Care Attendant

In this casual role, you will report to the Executive Director or Director of Care and focus on resident-centered service delivery. Your responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily living activities, meal delivery, and supporting recreational programs. Your genuine interest in seniors' well-being will guide your interactions with residents, families, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with personal care services politely

• Deliver meals and support housekeeping tasks

• Facilitate therapeutic recreation and group activities

• Foster involvement and choice for residents

• Model Age Care's values in every interaction

Requirements:

• Graduate from a recognized Health Care Assistant program

• Registered with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry

• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

• Demonstrated care for seniors

• Experience in providing support during activities of daily living
