Laboratory Assistant

Position: Laboratory Assistant at Dynacare
Exciting opportunity as a Laboratory Assistant in Specimen Processing at Dynacare, Kelowna, BC. Focus on patient-centered healthcare through accurate specimen handling and data entry.

In this permanent, full-time role, you will become an integral part of the team responsible for processing various laboratory specimens, ensuring every detail aligns with quality standards. Your expertise in phlebotomy and customer service will enhance patient experiences as you assist with blood sample collection and processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and handle blood samples competently

• Enter accurate data for Ministry of Health

• Sort and direct specimens to analytical teams

• Ensure confidentiality of patient details

• Adhere to SOPs for quality assurance

Requirements:

• CSMLS or BCSLS certification required

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is an asset

• At least 1 year of relevant experience

• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and self-management abilities
