Position: Resident Care Attendant Role at AgeCare
Make a difference as a Resident Care Attendant at Age Care Brandt's Creek Mews in Kelowna, BC. This full-time role focuses on delivering high-quality care and supporting resident needs.

As a vital member of the care team, you will observe and report changes in residents’ conditions, assist with daily activities, and help create and implement individualized care plans. Your compassion and commitment will support a safe and uplifting environment for all residents, aligning with Age Care’s values of trust and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Observe changes in resident status and inform Nurse

• Provide assistance with personal hygiene and transfers

• Support residents during meal and snack times

• Carry out routine care procedures as directed

• Engage in interdisciplinary team evaluations and care discussions

Requirements:

• Registered with BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry

• Minimum 5 years in a continuing care environment

• Fluent in English, both written and spoken

• Experience with residents experiencing Dementia

• Ability to demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills
