Medical Laboratory Technologist

Interior Health is seeking Medical Laboratory Technologists to join our team of lab professionals across the southern interior of British Columbia.

Medical Laboratory Technologists work in a supportive, team‑based environment and perform a variety of duties within the assigned discipline department.

Responsibilities include:

• Performing routine and/or complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments
• Greeting patients and collecting and/or receiving specimens
• Entering data into the Lab Information System (LIS) and related systems and programs
• Validating and reporting test results
• Maintaining instruments and preparing solutions and control agents
• Contributing to training, evaluation and improvement programs
