Interior Health is seeking an experienced and dynamic Sonographer to join our Medical Imaging Department at South Okanagan General Hospital in Oliver, BC. In accordance with established vision and values of the organization and in accordance with the standards of professional practice, performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures/examinations and related duties working in collaboration with radiologists/cardiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.
This is a Casual opportunityCasual Employees are not guaranteed hours of work and can range from 0-37.5 hours per week on an as-needed basis.

Qualfications- Graduate of a recognized/accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ultrasonography).
- Current certification with Sonography Canada as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Generalist and/or Cardiac) and/or current certification with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) as required for the assigned practice area (such as, Abdomen/Small Parts, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Cardiac, and/or Vascular) or be certified with Sonography Canada and have passed the Sonography Canada Skills Assessment (CCSA).
- Eligible for membership with Sonography Canada and/or ARDMS.
