QA Manager / IT Test Manager / IT Test Project Manager

Contract (1 year + potential to extend)

Toronto, ON (3-4 day’s in office) - Onsite

37.5 Hours

$75-$80/hour

2 rounds – 1st – In person and video

• Responsible for development and execution of testing strategies utilizing various software deliverable methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
• Work with Development and other internal teams to help troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify risks, and ensure defects are resolved; ensures adherence to defined testing quality standards.
• Hybrid role – Test and project manager

• Communication is key
• Reporting is key – status reporting, holding meetings, PowerPoint presentation.
• Project management background (managing QA projects) / coordinating testing
• Experience running large programs. Solid agile experience and knowledge.
• 3-5 years experience – ALM, Q Test, Jira, Confluence
• Knowledge of automation testing
• Solid knowledge of testing best practices and all phases of testing.
• HP ALM and Jira are a must
• Build dashboards
• Produce reports
• Connectivity, traceability

• Interact with hundreds of people
• Communication skills
• Rapid paced large scale environment
• Financial or bank
• Scrum Master certified
• Experience managing teams, programs, coordinating with multiple internal and external applications
