Join the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen as an Audiovisual Support Specialist, enhancing technology use for corporate events. This part-time role is perfect for someone passionate about technical innovation and user experience.

In this position, you will support the Information Services team with expertise in audiovisual systems to ensure productive corporate meetings and events. With a focus on customer excellence, you will provide training, facilitate technology setup, and address technical challenges as they arise. A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support at Board of Directors meetings

• Evaluate systems to improve online meeting experiences

• Configure A/V technologies for corporate training and events

• Deliver training sessions tailored to corporate needs

• Support emergency response initiatives as needed

Requirements:

• Certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar

• At least three years of experience in a related role

• Assets: AVIXA certifications or Microsoft Teams Administrator

• Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills

• Availability for flexible work hours including evenings
