Position: Okanagan College Procurement Specialist

Reporting to the Manager of Procurement Services, the Buyer will play a vital role in streamlining procurement activities within the College. Your duties will include processing purchase orders, evaluating supplier performance, and assisting departments with their sourcing requirements while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage all purchase orders efficiently

• Coordinate supplier communications and product sourcing

• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and trade agreements

• Maintain procurement and contract documentation

• Assist with contract renewals and supplier management

Requirements:

• Diploma in Business or related field

• 2-3 years of progressive procurement experience

• Knowledge of trade agreements and public-sector compliance

• Outstanding communication and analytical skills

• Experience with procurement software and systems
