Laundry Attendant - Spring​/Summer

A Laundry Attendant sorts, washes, dries, folds, and sometimes irons or steams linens, garments, and other textiles, ensuring cleanliness and proper care using commercial equipment while maintaining the laundry facility, managing supplies (detergents, etc.), and assisting customers with their needs, all while adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Processing Laundry: Sorting by color/fabric, treating stains, washing, drying, ironing/pressing, and folding items.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operating commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry machinery.
• Facility Maintenance: Keeping the laundry area clean, organized, and stocked; cleaning machines and emptying lint traps.
• Inventory Management: Monitoring and replenishing supplies like detergents, bleach, and laundry bags.
• Customer Service (If Applicable): Assisting guests/customers, responding to queries, managing laundry tags, and handling payments.
• Quality Control: Inspecting items for damage, stains, or wear; performing minor mending if needed.
