Community Clean-Up Maintenance Worker

Help maintain the environment as a Maintenance Worker for the Penticton Indian Band. This full-time role focuses on community clean-up through park and facility upkeep.

Under the guidance of the Public Works Supervisor, you will manage various maintenance tasks that contribute to the community's safety. From caring for parks to performing minor repairs, your role is critical in maintaining the aesthetics of local public spaces. Additionally, you will assist with firewood and snow removal, ensuring that facilities are functional year-round.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain public parks and recreational areas

• Perform light repairs on equipment and facilities

• Conduct routine maintenance on buildings

• Support fire suppression initiatives

• Assist with seasonal snow removal activities

Requirements:

• Background in facility maintenance desirable

• Ability to engage in physically demanding tasks
