C&W Services seeks a Building Operations Lead Hand for 2nd shift management. This role centers on overseeing building operations while training a skilled team for effective maintenance services.

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll direct the activities of building operators and ensure all essential systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical remain functional. Your expertise in mechanical repairs and building systems will optimize maintenance outcomes while adhering to safety regulations. Be prepared to respond to calls efficiently and support the team in troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly oversee building operations and maintenance activities

• Train and mentor building operators for efficient service

• Ensure compliance with safety practices and regulations

• Respond promptly to facility management calls for maintenance

• Document maintenance and repairs while meeting timelines

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED; 5 years of relevant experience

• BC trade qualification in mechanical or building trades

• 4th Class Power Engineering Ticket preferred

• Valid driver’s license; ability to pass security checks

• Strong understanding of building systems and customer service
