Double Tree West Kelowna - Maintenance Attendant
2569 Dobbin Rd, West Kelowna, BC V4T 2J6, Canada
OverviewOur philosophy is “to be great you need to have great people”. Accordingly, we are always searching for “great people”. If you thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial workplace we would be very interested in hearing from you.
ResponsibilitiesA Day in YOUR Life as a Maintenance Attendant. Every person that enters our hotel should be greeted and feel like a guest. You take initiative to greet guests, acknowledge colleagues, and adapt to the flow of the lobby. You change into a sharp, functional uniform, clock in, and join the Maintenance Department ready to meet every guest with exceptional service and care.
In the morning, you address urgent maintenance requests from the previous night. You understand that even small issues can impact a guest experience. A running toilet, dripping faucet, or a finicky door lock require prompt attention. Guest maintenance requests take priority and will continue to come in throughout the day, handled professionally with service at the forefront.
As the day progresses, you focus on preventative maintenance projects to protect assets and ensure all areas are functioning properly. You may be painting ceilings and trim, repairing tile, furniture, or plumbing. You may assist with major emergency repairs involving water shutdowns. You ensure guests are cared for and the hotel is in good working order by the end of your shift.
