Serve communities as a Custodian with The Salvation Army, focusing on cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining facilities while upholding strong values of service and dignity.
This hands-on role is integral to ensuring clean and safe environments at The Salvation Army's facilities. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, from daily cleaning and sanitizing to minor repairs and maintenance. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively with team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean windows, floors, and washrooms throughout the facility.
• Sterilize areas and equipment as part of sanitation protocols.
• Maintain inventory and order janitorial supplies as needed.
• Perform minor repairs and report major issues promptly.
• Participate in training and meetings as scheduled.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of general cleaning experience.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to support The Salvation Army's mission.
