Become a Part-Time Cleaner at Okanagan College and take part in transforming campus spaces. Ensure classrooms and shared areas remain clean and inviting for students and faculty.
This on-call role involves a range of custodial tasks under supervision, including cleaning washrooms and high-traffic areas. You will utilize proper cleaning techniques and equipment, maintaining both safety and aesthetics throughout the campus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and upkeep various campus facilities effectively
• Ensure safety and security of building premises
• Report and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
• Remove snow and ice from pathways to ensure safety
• Attend instructional courses for ongoing skill development
Requirements:
• Completed secondary education and custodial certification
• Between 6 months to 1 year of relevant experience
• Familiar with cleaning standards and equipment
• Ability to perform routine work independently
• Physically fit for fulfilling cleaning duties
