In this position, you will ensure the safety of the public and work crews as a Lane Closure Technician. Responsibilities include setting up work sites, overseeing traffic control personnel, and executing essential safety documentation. Key Responsibilities:
• Safely manage setup and teardown of work zones
• Oversee and direct other TCP's on-site
• Complete and sign necessary safety paperwork
• Facilitate communication among all roadway users
• Maintain high safety standards and practices
Requirements:
• 6 months of BC Lane Closure Technician experience
• Current TCP certification from WorkSafeBC
• Clean driving record and driver's license
• Smartphone with an active data plan
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions
