Join the Team:We’re hiring a full-time House Manager in Kelowna, BC to run the day-to-day of a high net-worth Kelowna family household while our current Household Manager is on maternity leave. The home includes two teenage boys, a family dog, and a lot of moving pieces. The family relies on a steady, hands-on partner who can hold the whole picture, make the call when it’s needed, and keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
This House Manager role isn’t about clocking in and running errands on a checklist. This is about becoming the calm, capable force behind a busy, fast-moving family’s home, the person who turns a full calendar of school, activities, travel, and hosting into something that just works.

Position Responsibilities:You’ll be at the centre of the household, creating ease and order so the family can focus on the things that matter. You’ll work closely with the family and their existing support team, with the trust and autonomy to run things independently once you know the ropes.
This role includes:
Household Operations & Standards- Oversee daily operations: laundry, tidying, mail and package processing, and keeping the home guest-ready
- Prepare light meals: simple breakfasts and kid-friendly dinners on a rotating basis
- Manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and seasonal maintenance routines (deep cleans, appliance care, seasonal changeovers, hot tub / sauna upkeep, and similar recurring tasks)
- Coordinate and oversee the house cleaner and other recurring service providers
- Keep the home stocked: pantry, household and personal-care supplies, kids’ snacks, and weekly groceries
- Maintain clear household manuals, checklists, and SOPs so nothing depends on memory alone
- Handle school drop-off and/or pick-up on assigned days and manage the daily school-run schedule
- Provide after-school supervision for two teenage boys: meals, activities, homework logistics, and evening routines
- Provide occasional overnight childcare when the parents are traveling (not a live-in role, but flexibility for occasional overnights is required)
- Support the boys’ extracurriculars, appointments, and day-to-day scheduling changes
- Help care for the family dog: feeding, walks, and coordinating with the groomer, trainer, and vet as needed
- Act as the primary point of contact for household vendors, trades, contractors, cleaners, landscapers, and other service providers
- Schedule and oversee repairs, seasonal maintenance, and small home-improvement projects
- Support setup and breakdown for family gatherings, dinners, and events at the house
- Manage the family’s car collection: cleaning, fueling, mileage logs, and coordinating service, detailing, and storage
- Oversee bikes and other seasonal gear: proper storage, seasonal changeovers, and maintenance scheduling
- Coordinate care for a boat, including seasonal launch/haul-out and moorage logistics
- Support the family’s additional seasonal home(s): coordinating with on-site caretakers/cleaners, arrival and departure prep, and seasonal upkeep
- Prepare the house ahead of family travel and reopen it on their return
- Do a weekly check of the property while the family is away
