Role OverviewKinetic (Penticton) is hiring a Manufacturing Operations Administrator to support production operations inside our steel fabrication and trailer assembly facility. This is not a front-desk role. You will work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Finance to ensure the shop has the correct documentation, accurate ERP data, and a current production schedule.

Work location:
On-site in an industrial manufacturing environment (PPE required)
- Print, release, and distribute engineering drawings, work orders/job travelers, and quality documents to the shop floor
- Maintain and update the production schedule and communicate priority changes to relevant teams
- Track and enter production hours, job costing, and production data using Excel and ERP/MRP systems
- Support document control: drawing revisions, change notices (ECO/ECN), and controlled distribution to production
- Maintain organized digital and physical records for production and technical documents
- Track and process operational paperwork including purchase orders, invoices, expense reports, and receiving documentation as needed
- Support vendor/customer communications as required to keep production moving
- Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements; promote a safe work environment
- 2+ years of administrative or operations support experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, industrial, warehouse, or technical environments
- Experience working with work orders/job travelers, engineering drawings, and revision-controlled documents
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (filters/sorts; pivots/lookups preferred)
- Experience using an ERP/MRP system for transactions/data entry (any system)
- Strong time-management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy (prevents rework caused by incorrect documentation/data)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to work effectively with shop and technical teams
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and reliability
- Basic bookkeeping/AP support (processing vendor invoices, matching documentation)
- Job costing/time capture experience
- Purchasing/receiving coordination in an industrial environment
- Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience
