Position: Waycon Manufacturing Material Processor Role

Support production at Waycon Manufacturing as a Material Processor and Forklift Operator in Penticton, BC. This role emphasizes material handling and operating cutting machinery with precision.

As the first point of contact for incoming materials, you will ensure quality checks and correct processing to keep fabrication moving smoothly.

Your role requires experience with material handling equipment and a knack for maintaining accurate records while collaborating closely with the production teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee receipt of incoming materials and perform QC checks

• Use a forklift to manage material movement

• Operate plasma tables, waterjets, and band saws for processing

• Interpret and implement technical drawings and orders

• Ensure cleanliness and organization in your work area

Requirements:

• Valid forklift certification is necessary

• Experience with industrial cutting tools and techniques

• Strong ability to read and understand technical documents

• Familiarity with materials like aluminum and steel

• High level of accuracy and detail orientation
