Job Title  Sanitation Technician
About the Role  Sanitation Technicians are responsible for keeping all production areas clean and orderly to ensure compliance standards are met and production functions as expected.
What You’ll Be Doing   Cleaning equipment and production areas
Assisting and guiding team members with sanitation tasks
Ensuring cleaning meets quality and safety standards
Following SOPs for chemical and equipment use
Removing trash and recycling regularly
Reporting supply needs to your supervisor
Completing required cleaning documentation
As a Sanitation Technician, you bring:
Proven sanitation experience in a manufacturing/production/industrial environment (required)
Ability to stand for long periods and lift upwards of 30 lbs
Valid WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently
Professional attitude and appearance
Strong attention to detail
Solid written and verbal communication skills
Strong multitasking and time‑management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks

Important Details to Know   Must be at least 19 years old and legally authorized to work in Canada
All successful candidates are required to pass background checks
Some tasks involve cleaning products, protective equipment, and exposure to plant materials (not suitable for individuals with related allergies or sensitivities)
Work environment may include warm, humid conditions with varied lighting
Compensation  23 CAD per hour
