THE OPPORTUNITY
Norelco is seeking an experienced Data Entry & Programmer to join their growing team. Supporting projects for the Hawaii Division, this position is responsible for reviewing approved drawings, entering project information into production software, programming projects for manufacturing, and ensuring all production information is accurate, complete, and ready for release.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting project execution by translating approved designs into manufacturing-ready data while maintaining accuracy throughout the production process. This is a highly technical role requiring direct experience within cabinetry, woodworking, or another wood-based manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cabinetry Data Entry & Programming
Enter and maintain project information within cabinetry manufacturing software
Input cabinet specifications, materials, hardware, finishes, and project details accurately
Generate production-ready information based on approved drawings and specifications
Review programmed projects for accuracy before release to production
Maintain project records and update information as revisions are issued
Ensure all project data aligns with approved shop drawings and specifications
Manage project documentation and revision control
Drawing Review & Project Support
Review approved shop drawings and specifications for completeness
Interpret architectural, design, and cabinetry drawings
Communicate discrepancies, missing information, or concerns to the appropriate team members
Work closely with design, project management, purchasing, and production teams to ensure project accuracy
Quality Control
Perform detailed reviews of project information prior to production release
Ensure accuracy of dimensions, materials, finishes, and hardware
Minimize manufacturing errors through proactive verification and problem-solving
Maintain consistency with company standards and procedures
Continuous Improvement
Assist in developing and maintaining programming and data entry standards
Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Support department initiatives focused on quality and continuous improvement
Requirements
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE - WHAT YOU BRING TO NORELCO
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of experience within cabinetry, woodworking, or another wood-based manufacturing environment
Minimum 1 year of programming, data entry, engineering, manufacturing, or production support experience within a relevant manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of wood product construction methods and manufacturing processes
Experience reviewing and interpreting shop drawings, technical drawings, or production specifications
Experience working with engineering, design, or manufacturing software
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Required Technical
Skills:
Experience with one or more of the following:
in Sight Technologies, Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Mozaik, 2020 Design, or AutoCAD
Proficiency with:
Microsoft Office
ERP or manufacturing software systems
Core Competencies:
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
