Join a team where innovation meets craftsmanship — Welcome to Kinetic Custom Trailers.
At KINETIC, we don’t just build trailers, we engineer custom solutions that push the boundaries of design, functionality, and quality. As a leader in the custom trailer manufacturing industry, we take pride in creating smart, efficient designs that meet the unique needs of every client, no matter how complex or specialized.

Help Power the Production Floor and Keep Materials Moving

At Kinetic Custom Trailers, innovation meets craftsmanship.

We engineer and manufacture custom Class 8 trailer solutions built for complex, demanding applications. Every build requires strong coordination between skilled trades, Production, Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, Warehouse, and our business systems.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Production Supervisor who can provide active, visible leadership on the manufacturing floor and keep people, priorities, materials, and schedules aligned.

Who You Are

You are a hands-on manufacturing leader who is comfortable being accountable for what happens on the floor.

You provide clear direction, follow through on commitments, and address problems while there is still time to solve them. You understand that good production leadership requires more than reacting to today's issues — it requires making sure tomorrow's work is ready before the shift begins.

You are comfortable balancing people, schedule, labour hours, materials, quality, and safety without losing sight of the customer commitment.

Key Responsibilities Daily Production Planning & Execution
  • Lead the daily production standup and establish clear priorities for each Team Lead.
  • Confirm labour, parts, drawings, tools, fixtures, equipment, and work areas are ready before work is scheduled to begin.
  • Maintain visibility to constraints that could affect production.
  • When constraints arise, develop alternate sequencing or work plans that minimize schedule impact.
  • Coordinate across Production, Engineering, Quality, Warehouse, and Purchasing to keep work moving.
Schedule & Labour Hour Control
  • Maintain clear build start and finish commitments.
  • Monitor actual labour hours against planned hours and identify deviations early.
  • Hold Team Leads accountable for progress against agreed priorities and target dates.
  • Escalate schedule risks promptly with the cause, expected impact, recovery options, and support required.
  • Follow recovery actions through to completion.
Floor Leadership & Accountability
  • Maintain an active and consistent presence on the production floor.
  • Verify employees are working on the correct priorities using approved methods, drawings, tools, fixtures, and work areas.
  • Provide timely direction, coaching, and correction when expectations are not being met.
  • Develop Team Leads by reinforcing clear ownership, planning, communication, and follow-through.
Workplace Planning & Onboarding
  • Review scheduled work and identify capacity, staffing, or qualification gaps and present to the Production Manager with the required quantity, skills, timing, and expected production impact.
  • Support the effective onboarding of new production employees.
  • Assign new employees to appropriate stations based on production requirements and capability.
  • Establish training priorities and monitor progress against expectations.
  • Communicate placement, qualification, attendance, or performance concerns promptly.
Safety Leadership
  • Reinforce a workplace where safe work is an operating requirement, not an afterthought.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety requirements, Kinetic policies, PPE requirements, and approved safe work practices.
  • Conduct regular floor observations.
  • Correct unsafe behaviour or hazards immediately and initiate required documentation or escalation.
Quality, Procedure & System Compliance
  • Enforce approved build procedures, workflows, inspection points, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure work is completed to current drawings, specifications, and approved manufacturing methods.
